Clerk

Shar Fay was appointed Village Clerk in 2016.  The Village Clerk is an appointed and pivotal position, dealing with vital areas such as:

• Keeper of the corporate seal, maintains all official records and documents
• Clerk of the Council; record proceedings, resolutions and ordinances
• Records proceedings for the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals and the Downtown Development Authority
• FOIA Coordinator
• Publishes and Posts all legal notices
• Administers oaths of office
• In addition, the Village Clerk acts as the Utility Billing and Marina Billing Clerk
