Department of Public Works

The Department of Public Works  (DPW) is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure of the Village of Suttons Bay. 

 Street and Road Maintenance

The DPW provides snow removal, pothole patching, sidewalk and curb repair and signage services for the Village streets, including all alleys.  The Street Department along with the zoning administrator is in charge of issuing driveway permits.

 Facilities and Parks

The DPW handles the maintenance of the Village of Suttons Bay buildings and vehicles, as well as grooming  the 8 parks within the Village.

David Miller is our Director of Facilities. David comes to us from Genoa Township and brings with him years of experience in facilities management.  David holds a water distribution license, storm water license and wastewater license.  You may reach the  Director of Facilities at 231.271.1032.
